Which envelope sizes can Penmark print, and what paper size do I choose?
Penmark prints 13 standard sizes (A7, US #10, A2, A6, A9, US #9, 6¾, A8, A10, DL, C6, C5, C4) and any custom size from 3 to 15 inches a side. When printing, choose the paper size named below; if your print settings do not list it, add a custom paper size with the exact dimensions.

US sizes are defined in inches and the international sizes in millimetres, exactly as the envelopes are sold; nothing is rounded.
Custom sizes
Choose "Custom size…" in the size picker and enter the width and height in inches or millimetres. Each side must be between 3 and 15 inches (76.2 to 381 mm). Width is the long edge. When printing, add a custom paper size with the same dimensions.
The paper-size name is a suggestion
Printers and operating systems name envelope sizes differently, and some list none of them. The name Penmark shows is the common one; if it is not in your list, a custom paper size with the exact dimensions is the fallback on printers that allow one. Do not pick a near match: for A7, "5 × 7" is a quarter inch short in both directions and shifts the print.
Adding a custom paper size on your computer
If the exact envelope size is not in your print settings, the computer or the printer driver may allow a custom paper size; enter Penmark's dimensions for the size (shown in the table above and on the sheet before each download). Where that option lives, and what it is called, varies by operating system, browser and printer. If the printer does not support custom sizes, choose a size it does support and print envelopes of that size.
Common questions
Is A7 the envelope for 5 × 7 cards?
A7 is 7.25 × 5.25 in, the usual envelope for a 5 × 7 card. Choose "Envelope A7" when printing, or a custom size with those dimensions, never "5 × 7".
What is "Envelope Personal"?
The common print-dialog name for the 6¾ envelope (6.5 × 3.625 in).
What about Monarch or other sizes not in the list?
Enter them as a custom size. Any envelope with sides between 3 and 15 inches works.
Can I enter millimetres?
Yes. The custom size takes inches or millimetres, and the international sizes are already defined in millimetres.
